Auditions

The City of Deer Park Parks and Recreation Department and The Art Park Players is now accepting audition appointments for their production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, Monday, APRIL 22^nd (Ages 5-17) 7-10pm, and Tuesday, April 23^rd (Ages 18 & Up) 7-10pm. Auditions will be held in five-minute increments within a 50-minute time slots. You may be asked to dance at the end of your time slot. Please arrive early to complete your audition form. Callbacks will be held on Thursday, APRIL 25^th beginning at 7pm. If invited to callbacks, you will be asked to sing, and read sides from the show. Auditions, Callbacks, Rehearsals and Performances will be held at the Theatre/Court Building at 1302 Center Street, Deer Park, TX 77536.

THE SOUND OF MUSIC with music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and a book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, will be directed by David Eck, musical direction Katie Heaton and Brandon R Tanner, choreography by Jeanmarie Eck, and technical direction by Joe Piper.
